To raise awareness about social issues in the surrounding community that impacts our society, and take action to help and bless the people living nearby.
To reach out to the surrounding community through conducting healing services where residents of the neighbouring blocks can come down to church to seek prayer for healing of their sicknesses and hurts, whether physical or emotional.
The purpose of the Outreach & Social Concerns Ministry is to engage residents in the church’s vicinity through friendship, and encourage their participation in the church or with community stakeholders.
Befrienders’ Club is a fun and interactive interest group where life skills are imparted to and character traits are promoted in students who are members of the club, happening every Monday, 2pm – 4pm @ East Spring Primary School. Participants gets to play fun games, make cool arts and crafts, and are taught lessons that are key to growing them into fine individuals. A team of volunteers from church help to facilitate the CCA programme and ensure that students enjoy themselves while learning important life skills and lessons.
MIGHTY CONNECTION (BY MIGHTY KIDZ)

Need coaching in English? We provide help to children from Primary 1 to 6 at only $50 per semester (every 6 months) every Saturday, 1pm – 4pm (except 1st Saturdays of the Month) @ LHMC Level 1. We help to coach children in phonics, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and more! Other than the English lessons, children also get to participate in fun songs and games, as well as listen to interesting Bible stories.
ST LUKE’S ELDERCARE
A team of church members regularly facilitate activities for the residents at St Luke’s ElderCare, such as befriending the elderly, singing along with them, and conducting workouts to ensure they keep healthy. Our visits take place every Tuesday, 10.30am – 11.30am.
We provide short-term financial assistance to less fortunate households to help cope with their daily needs.
A team of members and friends conduct worship and Bible study for inmates, while a separate team visits and cares for family members of inmates, both under the leadership of Prison Fellowship Singapore.
A team of members helps Care Corner run a Community Café on Thursdays for residents of blocks near their centre, while another team helps them with a reading programme for children.

Monetary support is channeled towards social services such as Methodist Welfare Services.
Pray for the helpers involved and pray for the community surrounding LHMC that the Lord will bless this community and the works that the ministry is already doing and will be embarking on.
