Outreach & Social Concerns

Outreach & Social Concerns

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”
– Mark 12:30-31 (NIV)

MISSION

To raise awareness about social issues in the surrounding community that impacts our society, and take action to help and bless the people living nearby.

To reach out to the surrounding community through conducting healing services where residents of the neighbouring blocks can come down to church to seek prayer for healing of their sicknesses and hurts, whether physical or emotional.

ABOUT

The purpose of the Outreach & Social Concerns Ministry is to engage residents in the church’s vicinity through friendship, and encourage their participation in the church or with community stakeholders.

BEFRIENDERS’ CLUB

Befrienders’ Club is a fun and interactive interest group where life skills are imparted to and character traits are promoted in students who are members of the club, happening every Monday, 2pm – 4pm @ East Spring Primary School. Participants gets to play fun games, make cool arts and crafts, and are taught lessons that are key to growing them into fine individuals. A team of volunteers from church help to facilitate the CCA programme and ensure that students enjoy themselves while learning important life skills and lessons.
