EQUIPPING THE LAITY
The School of Involved Learning or “SOIL” is an initiative of the Pastors’ Office aimed at equipping the laity at LHMC and helping the saints live out the Word of God in their lives. In the past years, Pastor Joel has taught on how to reach out to those struggling with same sex attraction, on the biblical perspective of divorce and remarriage, as well as classes on the Apostle’s Creed, the Holy Spirit and Revelation.
SOIL Workshop: Understanding the Generations
Rev Benjamin Lee is speaking at our last SOIL workshop of the year on 31 Oct, Saturday at Chapel from 930-1130am, on ‘Understanding the Generations’.
With our greying population, Singapore grapples with new realities as we blend the young and old at workplaces, in neighborhoods and in church! Yet each group thinks differently across the age bands, this workshop highlights the differences and also the similarities we have in our views and thinking! Come and learn together with other LHMcers as we learn how to not let our differences divide us but unite us and complete us as His Church!
